Awards & Honors

Throughout my academic and professional journey, I have been honored to receive several awards and recognitions that reflect my commitment to advancing research in hydrology, watershed modeling, and sustainable water management. Most notably, I was awarded the Coastal Studies Scholarship from East Carolina University in Spring 2024, recognizing my research on the "Integrative Analysis of Policy Changes for a Coastal Watershed: Implications for Agriculture and Ecosystem Health." I was also a recipient of the Sakal India Foundation Scholarship in 2021, which provided financial support for my postgraduate studies and was awarded through a competitive selection process.
In addition to these scholarships, I secured a position in the top 5% of candidates in the highly competitive Graduate Aptitude Test in Civil Engineering (GATE), outperforming over 153,000 participants. My dedication to research has been acknowledged with the Best Research Poster Presentation Award at a national-level conference on industrial practices in civil engineering, where my work was selected among contributions from over 100 undergraduate and graduate students across India. I am also an active member of the American Geophysical Union (AGU) and serve as a peer reviewer for several journals, including the American Society of Agricultural and Biological Engineers (ASABE), AGU & MDPI. These honors not only recognize my research contributions but also inspire me to continue my work in addressing complex water resource challenges through innovative, interdisciplinary approaches.
